National Grid
The UK is going full steam ahead to be carbon neutral by 2050, which means more wind and solar energy is being harnessed than ever before. But, the way it currently stands, our energy grid won’t be able to keep up. All that power needs somewhere to go before it gets to us.
The Great Grid Upgrade, a project by National Grid, is essential to making sure we stay on track for carbon neutrality, and to make sure a growing UK has a growing power supply to match. These hyper-local campaigns, shot entirely on location, don’t feature a single actor, and shine a local light on how more affordable, and more renewable energy, does help all of us. Not least, by giving us more games of football, and even more beers.
